Anita and Emile Woolf established Maxability in 2009 in order to enhance the lives of disabled adults in the London Borough of Barnet. They were partly inspired to establish the charity because their son, Carl Woolf, is deaf and physically disabled. Maxability’s mission is to enable participants to develop their creative potential through inclusive ceramics classes. Located in the Flightways Centre near Colindale, Maxability has a fully equipped pottery studio and provides a caring, supportive and creative environment. Maxability became a registered charity in 2015 (Charity No. 1162002).
