Future Icons Selects is back for a third year running during London Craft Week. Set to be this year’s largest showcase of contemporary crafts, Future Icons Selects is once again taking over the Oxo Tower Wharf’s industrial Bargehouse with over 50 artists from a multitude of craft disciplines, spanning multiple continents.
Pothole Clay Workshop Christmas Sale, London
Pothole is a friendly relaxing ceramics studio, their Christmas Sale will feature the work of lots of ceramic artists and makers.
Winter Ceramic Pop-Up, Hackney
Come and bag some original, hand designed Christmas presents at this year’s Winter Ceramic Pop-Up! This curated selection of ceramics are by SPACE artists collectively known as Triangle Ceramics Ldn. Find everything from contemporary homeware to one-of-a-kind small art pieces. The shop is open every day from 11am until 7pm.

The Maker's Fair at All Saints
This stunning grade I listed church was built in the thirteenth century French gothic style with beautiful stained-glass windows and carved choir stalls. This fair is in collaboration with ONE BREAD Café; a social enterprise serving locally roasted coffee, cakes and pastries, toasties and sandwiches made with the best of Sussex produce.
Turning Earth Winter Ceramics Market Highgate
A vibrant showcase of artistic talent and handmade craftsmanship, with over 200 different makers over four days.
Whether you’re a returning pottery lover or a curious newcomer, the markets offer something for everyone: browse the one-of-a-kind pieces, meet the makers behind the masterpieces, and discover why this mindful craft is so popular in the city. With the Christmas season fast approaching, get ahead of the last-minute frenzy and buy something that has been made by hand locally with passion, and support small businesses in your area.
There will be street food, from freshly baked sourdough pizza to BBQ delicacies and hot dogs. We’ll have festive drinks to warm you up in cold weather, from local craft beer to mulled wine, and barista coffees, or soft drinks if you prefer to keep it chilled. And last but not least, there will be live music to add an extra dose of festive cheer to the atmosphere.
There will be live wheel-throwing demos on all of the four market days, so you can get up close and see lumps of clay transform into beautiful pottery. For anyone who would like to get hands-on involved with clay, there will be drop-in workshops at the Leyton market on the 23rd and 24th of November.
Each year Turning Earth makers donate special pieces and seconds to raise money for organisations that reflect Turning Earth's vision of building a community with open arms. This year, we’re supporting the potters and craftspeople affected by the recent hurricanes in the Southeast US through the charity CERF+. Look for the charity stall at the market.

The Maker’s Fair - Winter Weekender
This weekend unfolds as a celebration of creativity, as the opulent rooms within the historic manor house are brought to life with the work of 40 talented artists and designers. Come and enjoy shopping directly from the makers and discover beautiful, handmade designs and wares.
Clay Collective Festive Sale
Clay Collective will be selling new work as well as loads of samples and seconds from all their makers. This is the perfect opportunity visit their space and find unique gifts, beautifully crafted in the studio. Hackney Downs Studios will also be hosting their Xmas Market in the courtyard that weekend, so come along!
Saturday 30/11 from 11am to 4pm and Sunday 01/12 from 11am to 4pm

Clay Collective is a shared ceramics studio for a small membership limited to 12

Maze Hill Pottery Open Studio, London
The 30th year of Kiln openings and first and seconds sale to the public. This year, Lucas George-Jones, Matty Lewandowski and Alice Wakefield will be joining Lisa Hammond MBE who have been making pots for this event.
There are many ways you can get to Maze Hill. They are in the Old Station Ticket office at Maze Hill on the down side of the line. Just come off the train on the down side of the line and they are the building as you come off the platform. Direct from Cannon St , London Bridge from London but also the Thames- Link train that starts at St Albans via St Pancras and London Bridge. Also on the Elizabeth Line from Woolwich and Jubilee from North Greenwich.
The Kiln Rooms Christmas Sale, London
Open 5-9pm on the Friday and 11am-5pm Saturday and Sunday across 2 venues.
These shows act as a showcase for between 80-100 up and coming artists and designers working with ceramics and takes place across the Bellenden Road and Copeland Park studios. It’s a great opportunity to see a range of handmade work, meet the makers and see the studios where the work itself was made. All work on display is for sale and in buying work you’re helping support the maker’s ongoing practice. Check out a few of their makers on their Members page or on Instagram.

Anita and Emile Woolf established Maxability in 2009 in order to enhance the lives of disabled adults in the London Borough of Barnet. They were partly inspired to establish the charity because their son, Carl Woolf, is deaf and physically disabled. Maxability’s mission is to enable participants to develop their creative potential through inclusive ceramics classes. Located in the Flightways Centre near Colindale, Maxability has a fully equipped pottery studio and provides a caring, supportive and creative environment. Maxability became a registered charity in 2015 (Charity No. 1162002).
MADE Brighton
MADE BRIGHTON is a national craft and design show for Brighton bringing the best makers in the country to the South Coast for an exciting, innovative, top quality, Christmas show.
The fair invites 50+ designer-makers from all over the UK and there are around 14 ceramicists exhibiting who will be selling their beautiful pots and innovative designs.

The 2024 Tavistock Potters’ market will take place on the last Saturday in October and will once again feature over 20 WPA members exhibiting a wide variety of their original work.

Normansfield Pottery Fair, Middlesex
Normansfield Theatre in Teddington welcomes the return of the popular Pottery Fair this Autumn.
Eighteen potters will exhibit and sell an amazing range of decorative and functional work created in a variety of clay materials, techniques and colours.
Visit over the weekend of Saturday October 19th and Sunday October 20th between 11am and 4pm. Admission is free as is the parking, with full accessibility and a cafe with refreshments. This event supports the Down’s Syndrome Association and the Normansfield Theatre Restoration Programme.
